No RemoteIO Output in the Simulator

  • Subject: No RemoteIO Output in the Simulator

I've been using RemoteIO for audio output on an iPhone and iPod Touch
app without problems. The same code has been failing in the
simulator.

The code is essentially the same as what's in the AurioTouch sample --
and the results seem to be the same. As is, when run in the
simulator, an error free result is returned by initialize and start
methods, but the callack is never called.

If I comment out enabling input IO, then the initialize method fails
with an 'Invalid Property' error.

Does anyone have any idea how to get the simulator working? It's
worked in the past -- just no idea why not now.

I'm on Snow Leopard, SDK 3.2, trying the sim with 3.0, 3.1, 3.1.3.

Thanks.
