Hello,

I have problem saving and loading multichannel audio (more than 2 channels) on iPhone. Basically I want to save signal sampled at 44100 Hz with 3-10 channels to audio file (of any format) and afterwards I want to load it again and play one of the channels on speaker and draw other channels on screen.

For example, I have 5 arrays of floats that I want to save to one audio file as a separate 5 channels. And afterwards I want to load file and restore original arrays.

Currently I am able to save and load 2 channels but I can not manage to get it working with more than 2 channels.

Is that possible at all on iPhone (IOS)?

If someone can point me to any working example of creation of multichannel (more than 2 channels) audio file using Core Audio I would be very thankful.

Best,

Stanislav Mircic
