I think I found the laughing and joking most disagreeable when the
children were shot ("they should not have brought their kids to work
[sic]"). Perhaps it was dubbed in to hoodwink folks like me.

Its the breadth and manner (if the claims are true). But I think I am
in a philosophical minority since 9/11.
The funny thing is, when I model threats, perform an architectural
review, or audit software, a number of agencies balk when I suggest
government should be modeled as a threat. I then ask them if its OK
for an US Army analyst in Fort Meade to read their ageny's emails or
listen to their conversations (for example, a correspondence between a
secretary and under-secretary). They have all responded with a
resounding NO. I have never had one say its OK.
