Hi All,
WO 5.2.3, OS X 10.3.5, Java 1.4.1 Update 1
I've got some strange behavior going on with my check boxes.
I have a WORepition of Categories, if a category is selected by the
user the page reloads with a list of sub-categories ( again in a
WORepition ) shown under the selected category, with standard
WOCheckbox next to each.
These checkboxes are bound to a method (assSubCatSelected) that returns
"true" if the user has previously selected them. There is also (
setAssSubCatSelected ) which sets the value of the object (i.e. the
user has selected them ) when the form is submitted.
Now if I tick any of these boxes, submit the form, page comes back all
works fine. If I remove a couple ( i.e. un-tick a couple of selections
) it all works fine, the page reloads and the boxes are unchecked.
However if I unselected ALL the checkbox's that had been selected and
submit the page, the page reloads and nothing has changed, they are
still ticked. In fact in this case the setAssSubCatSelected method
doesn't even appear to be called, in that my "This method is actually
being called" System.out.println is not printed.
Any ideas on why when all my checkboxes are unchecked the method
doesn't get called ?
Thanks
Owen McKerrow
