Ride WebObjects as long as you can until either it's dead or other
tools finally catch up.  In the meantime, brush up on other
technologies as time permits so you can make the transition as easily
as possible when you have to.

One thing I've found about WebObjects (and Cocoa as they share DNA), is
that the skills you learn by doing things the WO way teach you skills
that are very useful in other endeavors.  Including hanging out on WO
lists like this, as there are so many smart people here :).

Working in WO forces you to understand good design and architecture (or
to butt your head endlessly against the tools and frameworks).  You can
bring these skills and knowledge with you when you have to move to
another technology.  You'll be able to speak confidently and
knowledgeably about these things to clients and managers and deliver
results.

You'll just be silently cursing your new tools, making you work several
times harder for the same results as when you still had WO :).
