Skao,
First of all, I'm a developer paid by my customers. I always try to use
the best technology to solve my customer's problems with the best
cost-benefit for my customers and my company.
I don't like the religious discussions about the evil vs good
companies. I don't think that there are good and evil companies I think
there are business plans that best fits my necessities at any specific
time, and the business plans change very fast in any companies.
There are many things that I don't like from the MS AND Apple. But I'm
going to use the best of both companies and when the solution that they
provide won't be the best for my customer and my company benefits I'm
going to look for other options in any company.
I like a lot WO, I'm going to continue developing and supporting WO,
I'm going to try to help with the effort to promote WO, _but_ I'm
looking for options and if I find any other technology that best fits
my expectations I going to use it. I'm evaluating this opensource .NET
initiative from Novell that could be good option to have chance to
develop crossplatform .NET applications and integrate MS application
using my powerbook.
Saludos,
Daniel.

whatever microsoft products. even when .Net is greater than WO, and c#
is
powerful like java.
Microsoft is not a good company. i am against MS, cos of its
philosophy and
politc.
you see .Net today. but what will happen in the future? if you can
answer
this question. lets talk ahead :)
maybe WO is not my best choice, but .Net is not better.
peace!
Skao.

I have been looking options for WO for some time and I have found many
options that I'm evaluating (I'm already certified J2EE developer),
but
one that is at the top of my list is .Net on Linux/Unix/MacOS/etc.
With .Net on Linux/Unix/MacOS/etc you get many advantages, you have
access to the corporate accounts and the biggest market segment, you
are free to deploy in any platform, you have access to many
components,
access to many resources, books, etc., etc., etc.
If you are interested on this kind of technology you can find in at:

Saludos,
Daniel.
