Cocoa java and EOF

  • Subject: Cocoa java and EOF

Hello,

I'm starting a new development project and to fully leverage Apple's user
interface (UI widgets, raw native speed, etc.) I have chosen to take the
Cocoa-Java-EOF approach.

But I'm having a lot of trouble finding good documentation to help me. I
have been able to develop a fully functional smaller application but I'm
sure I'm not using EOF to its full strength and I'm sure I am doing some
things the wrong way too. (not using the EditingContext.lock() function for
example).

So have I chosen the right development path here (Cocoa-Java-EOF)? I feel
terribly alone my questions and potential bugs.

Is this development path viable or am I cornering myself?

Is there other alternatives to develop native Cocoa - (Java preferably) -
Database application that will be used by multi concurrent users (15+).

Thanks all !!!
