Health of WebObjects - developer/user base?

I'm just dipping my toes into WebObjects (looks really cool so far) but I'm VERY nervous about Apple's commitment to it. I got really burned when they dropped OpenDoc in the 90's, lost almost a year's work and I don't want to go down that road again.

How busy are you WebObject pros?

Do you get the sense that it's something Apple plans to stick with for the next five years or so?

Have WebObjects projects been a hard sell to clients?

Thanks for any info

Ken
