Cayenne or Tapestry? Cayenne was "ready" since probably 2004-2005. Tapestry - since v4 (around 2005-2006). Tapestry 5 which indeed is a full rewrite incompatible with earlier versions, is rather cool. Among other the IoC container makes it that. But then the WO community never fully appreciated IoC...
