Okay, based on various responses, both personal and public, it sounds like
the point of X11.app is somewhat different than I was assuming, and I might
be better off switching to LinuxPPC and run MacOnLinux instead, but I have
a few reservations about that. So if anyone has any familiarity with
LinuxPPC and/or MacOnLinux (I guess the second one implies the first
one...) could they please read http://trikuare.cx/mt/archives/000030.html
and respond privately (since it's totally off-topic for this list)?
