Mr lane, I am not an apple employee or in any way affiliated with
them, but 2.61 which is the version shipped with leopard, works just
fine with AC_PATH_X and the extra version thereof which is more
specific. What on earth is your problem? What configure.in are you
using that's breaking? If it doesn't use the built in macros to test
for X, it really isn't their problem or anyone's but yours and that of
whoever is distributing a broken autoconf script. Is it perhaps a
specific library the script is looking for which does not exist or is
not being found? Don't just throw out accusations or anything of the
kind without reasonably presenting the problem you are having, which
you have not done. If you do, maybe someone can help you.
