So any autoconf version older than 2.62 (released 2008-04-05) is
"antiquated"? I realize you'd very much like to define this as not
your problem, but this position is ridiculous on its face. Apple itself
is not yet shipping 2.62 --- how can you expect that everyone has
already updated to that?
I think a *minimum* expectation is that Leopard X11 should work with
autoconf scripts generated by the autoconf version shipped in Leopard.
