if you run it remotely you need to download them from the remote
machine, steal that is ;-)
This is not quite true; if the remote machine has the font server
configured, you may be able to tell your client to use it. You'll
need to check with the administrator of the remote machine to find out
if the Mathematica fonts are available via the font server (or can be
made available) and if so what entries to add to your font path.
