Ok, so the only advantage behind using XQuartz instead of system's X11 is added performance when running applications? Is compatibility with KDE, Gnome, etc. also improved?
Is there a rough timeline after which XQuartz advances are incorporated into the system's X11?
As always, I want to say that what you guys are doing is simply marvelous.
