I wonder whether this is the same thing as the "momentary loss of focus"
issue that I and many other people have been seeing for a long time.
What I see (not using full screen) is that the X11 windows transiently
change header color indicating loss of keyboard focus, and anything you
are typing goes into the aether. Usually, though not always, focus is
restored after a second or so. I wouldn't be surprised if the same
glitch in full-screen mode includes dropping out of full-screen.
The only thing I've been able to reliably correlate this with is iCal;
it will happen exactly one minute before an iCal alert is due to pop up.
But I've also sometimes seen it at times when I didn't think iCal was
doing anything.
