I want to have ONE main editor. In case I need some file in a separate editor, I know how to open one myself, thanks.

Exactly my opinion.

Honestly, the first time that I saw this behavior in 1.5 beta, it was completely impossible for me to believe that this change was introduced on purpose. I thought its just an obvious glitch in the UI which would be naturally fixed before final, thus no need to file a bug.

You always want to file bugs. Hell, half of the bugs I filed weren't fixed, including my pet bug at WWDC that I mentioned at every DevTools session I attended, at the DevTools feedback forum, and on this list at least twice. *hint, hint* Xcode uses two regular expression variants... <radr://3719739>

Oh well. I'm still appreciative for performance improvements (especially indexing), debugging enhancements, and Subversion support. Maybe there will be a minor release before Panther that will fix some of the other bugs.

Beyond filing bugs (which are kind of odd for UI issues), be sure to email <email@hidden>.
