People - what's the _point_ of all those additional editors? It doesn't make anything easier for me. It's just confusing and a lot more work, since I need to deal with three windows now instead with just one.

Agreemsg.

Maybe all of the Xcode developers are working on dual Cinema displays, but on my 15" PowerBook there's only enough space for one editor. Anything more just turns into a big jumbled overlapping mess.

Project Builder's all-in-one window layout was infinitely preferable. :(
Maybe a future version of Xcode will bring that layout back? ;)
