DarwinPorts has indeed worked well for getting Subversion. I've built a couple of dozen subversion installations and am now using DarwinPorts for my own personal setups.


If you want to run the HTTP package, or use the Python SWIG bindings, you'll want to build with the +mod_dav_svn and +python variants.
