By symbols I mean the names of my classes, types, globals, and

there a plan to add that in future version?
I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. Yes, I know XCode
does syntax coloring on language keywords, constants, etc. But I am
looking for coloring of symbols in my project and system headers.
The symbols that compiler gets from preprocessing/parsing/whatever
my source files. Not the built in keywords of a specific language.
In CodeWarrior's term, it's "Active Browser Coloring" in its Text
Colors preferences panel.
Xcode does not currently have this feature. We are aware that it's
something people want.
