By symbols I mean the names of my classes, types, globals, and

there a plan to add that in future version?
I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. Yes, I know
XCode does syntax coloring on language keywords, constants, etc.
But I am looking for coloring of symbols in my project and system
headers. The symbols that compiler gets from preprocessing/parsing/
whatever my source files. Not the built in keywords of a specific
language.
In CodeWarrior's term, it's "Active Browser Coloring" in its Text
Colors preferences panel.
Xcode does not currently have this feature. We are aware that it's
something people want.
So is it going to be implemented? I feel like being thrown back to
stone age using a source code editor that basically knows nothing
about my source code.
