Right, it shouldn't actually *change* the subprojects, but it should do what you say below:


That said, Xcode should of course take the active build configuration into account when performing dependency analysis and when building - in the referenced projects, just as well as in the main project.

If that doesn't work for you, file a bug report. Bonus points if you can reproduce the problem, and show them how!

I can reproduce it every day by opening my main project (until today when I switched the subprojects' current configs). ;)
