I've opened a case with Apple and they are looking into the problem.
However Apple instructed me to turn off the data formatters by
un-checking the menu Debug->Variables View->Enable Data Formatters and
this worked. THIS WORKED. I can now debug. This is the same thing
you told me to do but a slightly different method. I'm posting this
here so others can benefit from this knowledge.
Great, glad you found a solution. It's unfortunate though the solution
involves switching off the data formatters as it makes the debugger even
more of a pain to use. This is an area where Xcode could really take a
leaf out of Visual Studio's book -- the Xcode debugger is painful with
C++ types.
