This is getting completely off-topic, but I have to reply.

I am not Apple, I did not invent "internet enabled", and I am not religious about using it. But your post was not objective, but skewed by personal opinion

2. When you double-click a zip file on the Desktop and an app appears, does the zip file delete itself? No?

Personally, I wish it did.

3. If you back up software you download, which isn't a bad idea necessarily, an Internet-enabled disk image kicks a bucket of suck all over your plans.

You can back up the app it contained, without any superfluous info. And the method of compression is up to your backup application of chose

4. I was going to put that on another computer, but I wanted to look on this one first. Thanks for making me download that thing again.

Again, there is no reason why you can not copy the app contained in the disk image. It is exactly what was meant to be distributed

Let me reiterate: I have no stake in using internet enabled disk images, and really someone who has should argue this topic instead.

And I will ask support if anyone has ever complained about internet enabled distribution. If people did, i will change it
