I don't know the details for this particular problem, but the built-in zip /
unzip method certainly has some bugs. For example, it cannot be used to zip
my app for distribution, because the end-user won't be able to unzip it.
This is due to errors when there are symlinks inside the material to be
zipped (and there are in my app, because a framework is embedded in the
bundle).
