No you're not. I have had fairly miserable experiences with the
debugger since I started programming in OS X in 2003, both Project
Builder and Xcode have, in my opinion, sucked as a tool for debugging,
and like you I gave up long ago and just resorted to printfs.
In all fairness the 2.5 version (I don't have 3.0 or Leopard yet) is a
bit better than before but I still don't really trust it all.
