The only bug report I see from you was a dup of the common Xcode 3.0 hang-on-project-open due to the localhost configuration issue. I don't see one on slow typing.

I expect that the OP's problem is due to the very large array in a C++ file. We know there is a degenerate case there and have already made some performance improvements in the next version of Xcode, but we still have room for improvement when syntax-coloring very large structures.
