You can do these things in virtually every debugger written in the last decade.

I really hope Apple groks that their debugger is much inferior to the competition and works to quickly resolve the situation.


They are winning a lot of new developers with the iPhone SDK. If 3.1 doesn't go a long way to solving these issues then a lot of the Microsoft Visual Studio refugees new to Xcode are going to be very unimpressed. A storm of bad developer publicity may ensue for Apple, which would be sad.
