Eclipse has a nice feature that saves backups automatically
What about adding a Run Script build phase that calls another script
sending as an argument the projects path. The script being called
would have a delay to give the build time to finish and would then
make a backup or commit to svn.
You could choose which folders to include in the backup and you would
have incremental backups based on each time you did a build.
Backups could also be accomplished with launchd watching your project
folder for changes, at specified time intervals or when a USB drive is
attached.
For all of you with more experience than I, what are the downsides to
these ideas?
Thanks,
Craig
