Jesse,
I am not sure why. But for me, I need a FireWire interface for a fast
interface and the Express/34 for my eSata drive and the MacBook does not have
those features. Now, it is possible that people are concerned about the graphics
adapter not being as powerful as the MBP. This could be a problem.

Taking this thread back to it's original topic:
Is there any particular reason not to use a MacBook? I find that 2.4GHz
is 2.4GHz whether 13" or 15" the differences between 2.4, 2.5, and 2.66
are trivial at best. And I find the MacBook is even more "mobile" than
the 15" MBP (obviously for size).
Just wondering if there is some major turn-off that puts MacBooks out of
the thought process.
Also: it is an "undocumented" feature that a late generation (Late 2008,
with the model code of 3,1 or 4,1) MacBook can handle 6GB of RAM. I
would assume this carries over into the MBP line, but obviously we can't
be sure without having someone who has actually done it.
