This suggestion is akin to "make sure your computer is plugged in" but
has to be said just
in case. There is an "activate" button on the debugger interface. If
that is not hit so that
it now reads "deactivate" then your breakpoints will not be hit.
Furthermore, Xcode is extremely buggy. It's the most buggy piece of
development software
I've used. It's deleted files on me, it's removed things from SVN, it's
thrown away changes,
it's crashed with no backups, a day does not go by where I do not utter
the phrase $@##@$
XCODE!!!
In terms of debugging you have to treat it like you're running Windows 3.11.
If something isn't working in a way that makes sense, restart it. 90% of
the time that
clears up the problem.
There are bugs in the debugging parts where breakpoints you set from the
console get ignored
while breakpoints from the breakpoints window are still being hit. So
don't count on stuff you
set at the console, you can use it, just don't rely on it to always be hit.
Maybe in this something helps, I hope so.

Hi guys,
I did search on the mail list and google the problem without successful.
Some say go to Xcode and uncheck “Load symbols lazily” and some other
stuffs, I tried all but Xcode still ignore break points, it just run
through it.
I’ m using Xcode 3.1.2 come with the release of iPhone SDK on
2009/01/27, OS 2.2.1 9m2621afinal version, I encountered some strange
interface from books, online guide : near the “Build&Go”, on the left,
there’ s no “Clean” or “Build” button, but I guessed they made it like that.
So I wonder what must I do to make my Xcode to be debuggable and fully
functioned like others.
Thanks for your patient reading, any help would be much appreciated.
Regards.
