Hi, Ron,

Thanks for the reply, but I couldn't solve the problem.

I went to Keychain and deleted all passwords for all apple.com subdomains (there were several), but Xcode still doesn't prompt me for my ADC login, only for my local login - and then proceeds to download documentation (3.1 that is, for 3.1.2 still get "failed to subscribe") . Where is my ADC login info stored? It sure isn't in the Keychain under *.apple.com...

This is on Leopard 10.5.8 with latest Xcode 3.1.4.

izidor

P.S. There is a post how to solve this (by going to previous version of documentation), but I would really prefer to have correct documentation setup:

The likely issue here is that bad login info is in the keychain. If you are getting a panel to login to ADC, make sure you are using the account that has iPhone privileges, and make sure the password is entered correctly.

If Xcode is not presenting a panel, use the Keychain Access app and delete the 'connect.apple.com' entry, then try updating the docs again. You should get a login panel at that point.

This started with iPhone 3.1 documentation update. I deleted the 3.1 docset and re-downloaded, but behaviour stays the same.

Any way to prevent those annoying "File not Found" panels from showing up?

Thanks,

izidor

P.S. Also, when I try to subscribe for 3.1.2, Xcode gives me "Failed to subscribe to documentation feed at http://developer.apple.com/rss/com.apple.adc.documentation.AppleiPhone3_1_2.atom ."

P.P.S. This problem also showed on stackoverflow, and I copied the title from there, to help searching...
