Yes. It's bad for *me* - but I've got co-workers who look at my screen and shudder; they manage happily in a small number of windows with XCode 3's grouping turned on (or even - horrors - a single terminal with emacs), and they're likely to get along with XCode 4 just fine. Their mental model of "where" the files are is different from mine. _______________________________________________
