The release notes claim you need to launch Xcode first, then choose the desired app from the menu bar (Xcode > Open Developer Tool), which is of course retarded.  All it amounts to is that the apps are now inside Xcode.app's bundle, in Contents/Applications.  You can add them to the dock or put aliases wherever you like.  I don't know how, however, to get them into Launchpad, short of putting the aliases in /Applications.  I've never used Launchpad myself, though, for this and many other reasons.  Glad to see my gut instinct vindicated on that point, at least. :)

What really pisses me off, however, is that now all the tools are inaccessible via Spotlight.  So I can no longer launch Instruments or FileMerge easily.  I'm still trying to find a solution to that one.
