Do you think that OpenRadar is a blog, and the author of that is a blogger?
No, that is not the case.
OpenRadar is a place where people file bug reports that they've actually filed to the open public, so that one can know if dupes have been filed.
Since Lion, many apps have problems with sporadic crashing; I suspect it's that multiple different reasons may be the cause depending on the circumstance.
Think your statement through. If one installs an app, and has to go through a setting rigamarole to get it to "not crash" when simply entering text, something is wrong. I opine that if that's happening, they could try to change settings, but it's getting into "workaround" territory at that point.
What's a true waste of time is for people that aren't experiencing problems, or who are fanboys, to reply to contest the reality of the scenario. The fact that the system has problems is self evident by the large amount of negative responses.

Xcode is a complex product. The blogger needs to file a bug report and do some work with his/her settings.
There was nothing useful at that URL.
Xcode works well here. Reading a ranting blog is a waste of time.
thanks!-
