Until I deleted it, Xcode 3.2.6 ran fine on ML; the problem is that it won't (re)install.

To answer my own question, YES. I just now performed an example of exporting a .nib as a .xib and including it in a project in Xcode 5. Plus, all of the original bindings are retained!
