Just to be clear, Apple’s documentation workflow toolset most likely already
supports accessibility markup for PDF and can probably generate this metadata
automatically, or with not much effort. Just want to throw this out there that
nothing stops Apple from generating well compliant accessible documentation.
While text reflowing is a nice-to-have feature, it just isn’t enough of an
issue for probably 99% of developers to worry about, given the alternative.
Apple, please put out a nice documentation app that has all the wizbang
features under the sun (e.g. better mobile layouts) but also getting rid of PDF
versions of docs is a little frustrating.
