What exactly does that button do?
The problem was that one morning when I clicked the archive button,
the messages that were there the previous day and due to be archived
today ... weren't there. I've watched this closely, since, and I did
see the oldest day's messages disappear one afternoon. (I recovered
then from my backup.) I'm still watching.
