I like Andreas's proposal for the split quicklist. Add a search field
and I'll be the happiest man on earth! As I wrote to you in private, I
really miss the search field in the quick list.
Also, more keyboard navigation would be welcome. Here are a couple
things that come to mind:
- Add a shortcut to navigate from the quicklist to the quicklist to the
main browser window.
- When you open a new browser window, make the quicklist search field
the current input zone. This speeds things a lot to open a new browser
window and quickly go to a class definition
AppKiDo is a fantastic tool that I use all the time. Would love to
contribute some code if that can help ;-)

That's a creative solution, and I'll see if I can sell myself on it.
In an app like this, I have to be convinced that every little bit of
extra complexity justifies itself. At some point you fix things in
stone, like Apple's standard menu bar items, and at some point you
offer flexibility, like customizable toolbars.
Can you tell me where you find yourself doing lots of extra mouse
gestures with the new interface? In my own usage, I find that 98% of
my quicklist needs (not counting Search) are met by the existing radio
options. When I do need to see more of the classes in a framework,
that framework is almost always AppKit. One thing I probably *should*
do is remember which framework was selected from the popup menu.
