Just the opposite for me.
When I applied the newly built profiles to the target that used I for profile
building, the improvement was dramatic (as usual) but when I tried to use
the profiles in a workflow environment, with real subject matter, the
colours
were really awful, so I resorted to the David Tobie method. Maybe the
preasure
of the client looking over my shoulder didn't help. :-)

I was using RAW capture as well, but through Macbibble. The Nikon people here
in Australia were not forthcoming with the Nikon Capture software. :-(

The Olympus sounds a pretty cool camera especially with those software
advantages.
