This is only an option in Photoshop 6 or Linocolor but since the corrections
are best suited to a lineal (working) space that contains the gamut of the
process or film it's best to convert to a working space before correcting.
Yes there are rounding errors but insignificant rather negligible compared
to the benefits of a rgb working space that is firstly linear and contains
the film gamut.
