This is exactly what I do. I was just curious what was truly going on behind
the scenes if edit upon edit were made and not based on the original
profile. I did have an instance where I had made a few adjustments to the
various channels in gradations and then needed to add an overall density
curve. It was much easier to take the edited profile and pull a new curve to
adjust density overall rather than making adjustments to each channel
individually to add density. If I had multiple points in my edit in various
places on each channel curve, it is not a simply matter to say darken the
midtone overall. Using the brightness slider to make the image darker
results in a while point that becomes darker. Does anyone know a way around
this other than changing the brightness and then reediting the white point?
