Super A3 proofing paper for use on the 1270 with dye inks. Any suggestions?
Any paper showing a -6b cannot be considered a serious proofing paper. It
may have wonderful qualities of gamut definition, but proofing not. Tecco
make paper for Best and many other European distributors, Stihl is reported
as great paper. You can get a sampler from Best of the range of papers.
Their semi-mat proofs to press well.

various media. Is this just an Epson thing or is it media and ink specific?
Are you using a rip or the Epson rgb driver? Sometimes rips have PPD's that
can create unwanted lines under certain conditions. Otherwise the Epson
drivers normally produce fluid transitions into the darks , even if the deep
red changes in color quickly on the dye based inks/Epson paper combo.
