All the tools you mentioned should do the job adequately.
Curious how is you HP5500 is 'profiled' to your 6 color press, though? Don't
you have it profiled 'independently' of your color press? And don't you have
an ICC profile of your color press too? Sounds to me like you may not have a
monitor calibration problem but a whole ICC color workflow problem. How have
you 'profiled' your HP5500 to yur 6 color press in the first place? By
tweaking curves somewhere?
