The image differences are more pronounced using a D-1 and a D-100 in the same situation, (studio flash with polarisation) which I assume to mean the camera data is still intact and the "no colour correction.icc" is simply assigned.

Yes, this is as close to "in tact" as you can get with C1 nowadays. They cant help but mess (some excuse about legacy users) (why, one might ask, since NCC never existed before 3.7! ) with the tone curve (even in NCC) . Youll note what i am referring to if you view these graphs in colorthink. Its still better that is was prior to NCC.
