Thank you, Steve, for pointing out an aspect of color profile creation that
has gone underappreciated up to this point, namely the need to have a whole
range of black generation "flavors" for the standard profiles (Web Coated,
Sheetfed, etc.).
I do a workaround that I created using ProfileMaker each time I need to
separate to a standard profile with a higher black generation than I would
otherwise get, but it's a kludge, and it would be undoubtedly better if the
standard profile came in a whole range of K-Gens already.
Well, there, I said it... :-)
