Nice, that made me smile.
So i should bring my microwave to your house?
when it blows up can i blame you because the voltage is too high?
nope.
Its just different. Worked fine at my house.
i shouldnt assume it will be fine at your house.
The difference is i can research "what" your voltage is before i plug
in. I can then save myself some grief.
With OS updates, i can only turn on and HOPE it doesnt blow up.
Tell me the choice i have?
When the mains fail in my house, I can pull out a voltmeter and chase
the problem. If there's no voltage at the meter it's the utility, else
it's a fuse, else it's a wire etc. Why can't the CMS companies agree
on a suite of tests which need to be applied whenever an update occurs
and which validates the update ?
