Hi Klaus
Indeed, I do want InDesign to ignore CMYK profiles and I don't want conversions, and it performs perfectly on this front. I just find it curious that sometimes it tells me what the embedded profile is and sometimes it says "document CMYK". I guess "Emulate Adobe InDesign 2.0 CMS Off" means: inconsistently display embedded profile information in the links palette.
