ok - so before we get another slew of emails extolling the virtues of C
++ / ObjC, lets just curtail this and remember that the purpose of
this list is questions, etc, about CoreAudio APIs (as much as we like
religious discussions about languages :)

there are a lot of PowerPC chips in space still apparently. Could

I think it was more of a marketing issue though - if people had
realized how easy it
is to develop applications in ObjectiveC and how close it really is
to
C++ this wouldn't have been much of a problem...
Is it just me who prefers C++ over Objective-C? My plugin GUI is
Cocoa based but I can't say my relationship with Obj-C is a
particularly happy and free one. Maybe I'm missing something. My
mood noticeably brightens when I drop down into Quartz..
