The rear ones are USB passthrough.
The front ones are not passthrough. The device interacts with them and proxies a keyboard and mouse on the computer. I've encountered enough problems with that pathway that I've given up on it. I recommend you do the same. If you still have problems connecting the keyboard/mouse in the back of the KVM, please let me know.
