Using X11.app with /opt/X11/bin/quartz-wm reveals the bug
Using XQuartz.app with /usr/bin/quartz-wm is bug free
I'm using XQuartz.app exclusively. I get failures with /opt/X11/bin/quartz-wm
after a few minutes.
I'm now running XQuartz.app with /usr/bin/quartz-wm and have had no problems
after several hours.
I'm using XQuartz.app exclusively because my X11 (Snow Leopard standard X) no
longer works and hasn't since installing the rc1 product. It tries to start but
fails to open an xterm, and the Dock icon says unresponsive, force quit.
